I'm encouraging audiences to dive deep into my personal grief to help transform how we perceive in a way that changes our relationship with ourselves, others and our stories. Stories help transform lives so I'm sharing mine.
In the book, Forever Sweet 16, I'm sharing the full story of losing my daughter, Amandah, to viral meningitis. The most tragic story of my life and how I've learned to continue my life's journey. Allow my story to encourage you if you've lost a child too.
Life is hard and there is no way around that. Let's laugh and cry together about the curve balls life throws at us with deep, insightful, and open-minded conversations.
Imagine a world with less drama, more love: less criticism, more encouragement. This is the kind of thing that will help to build positive and more compassionate futures together.
Judy Amber is featured in Forbes Magazine and New York Times Magazine for sharing her story as a mother who lost her 16-year-old daughter to viral meningitis in a matter of 3 days. She shares her stories to inspire hope and life after tragedy while injecting faith and spirituality as the glue that kept her alive.
These talks are geared towards women and young mothers who are going through tough times. Anyone who is fighting their faith because of life’s hardships - the death of a loved one, divorce, struggling for independence, feeling isolated, and for the person who may be contemplating suicide.
There are different kinds of speakers. Informative, inspirational and motivational. Information is great while motivation comes and goes. I focus on inspiring the lives of those around me through my heart-felt, real life experiences - and there are many of them - for lasting change. The kind of change where you hear a story one time and it tugs on your heart for years to come because there was something bigger than myself that was attempting to call out to you. I’m coming to realize that my life was God’s canvas and my voice is his paintbrush. I’m not looking to compete, rather to simply inspire someone to keep going.
